Domestic standards
Copper and copper alloy drawn bars (GB/T): Covers the dimensional deviation, conductivity (≥85% IACS), grain size and other requirements of round and rectangular bars, supporting product upgrades and international competitiveness.
Dimension tolerance: The diameter tolerance of drawn bars refers to Table 11-12 (such as Φ10mm tolerance ±0.1mm), and the fixed length deviation is +15mm.

Processing characteristics
Easy to cut, can be completed by ordinary machine tools, but attention should be paid to the structural strength when processing sharp corners and thin walls.
The voltage resistance of fine-grained type (W powder with smaller particle size) is better than that of coarse-grained type because the electric field effect within the phase interface is enhanced.

1. Production process
Powder metallurgy and solution infiltration process
Mainly made of high-purity tungsten powder and copper powder through static pressing, high-temperature sintering and solution infiltration of copper. This process ensures the density and uniformity of the material through steps such as powder pressing, sintering, and copper liquid infiltration. For example, CuW75 alloy achieves high density (14.50g/cm³) and stable mechanical properties through this method.
Rotary forging method
For WCu25 alloy wire, static pressing combined with rotary forging technology is used, processed at an initial temperature of 700-750°C, and the deformation is controlled (0.4mm per pass before 25%, and 0.3mm afterwards), and finally a high-performance wire with a density of 98.16% and a conductivity of 39.2% IACS is obtained.
Continuous casting and extrusion process
International large-scale enterprises use large-tonnage horizontal continuous casting furnaces to produce copper ingots, which are then processed into copper rods through reverse extrusion machines and finished with combined drawing technology. Domestic enterprises such as Boway Alloy use advanced continuous casting, extrusion and drawing equipment to ensure high precision and efficient production.
Low-cost short process
To reduce costs, single-mode electromagnetic casting copper-clad steel bad bars can be used, combined with the broaching machine straight drawing process to reduce material waste and improve efficiency, suitable for cost-sensitive applications such as grounding rods.

Excellent physical properties
High density and hardness: W75Cu25 density reaches 14.5-16.8g/cm³ (different processes may produce differences), hardness is not less than HB195, and some products can reach 252HV.
Electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity: electrical conductivity 38-39.2% IACS, thermal conductivity 200-230 W/m·K, suitable for electrodes and high temperature environments.
High temperature resistance: softening temperature ≥900°C, outstanding arc erosion resistance, suitable for resistance welding electrodes and high-voltage discharge tubes.
