1. Production process

Raw material processing and smelting


Raw materials usually include scrap brass, scrap copper, zinc ingots, etc., which are sorted and put into industrial frequency furnace or medium frequency electric furnace for smelting. Smoke and slag are generated during the smelting process. The slag can be recycled and the smoke is treated by the dust removal system.


Aluminum bronze alloys (such as C63020) need to add aluminum, nickel, iron and other elements in proportion to improve material properties.

Continuous casting and forming


The molten copper liquid enters the continuous casting link after being treated in the insulation furnace, and forms a continuous casting rod through the cooling circulating water system.

For high performance requirements, the copper rod after continuous casting needs to be hot extruded to improve density and surface smoothness.

Subsequent processing


The copper rod after hot extrusion may be skinned and annealed (such as 600℃ annealing) to eliminate internal stress and optimize mechanical properties.

Some processes also include steps such as polishing, sawing, and straightening to ensure dimensional accuracy.
