1. Production process

Smelting and casting

Electrolytic copper, zinc, nickel, lead, etc. are used as the main raw materials and melted into alloy liquid through an industrial frequency induction furnace. The composition ratio needs to be accurately controlled during the smelting process (copper + silver 59%-66.5%, lead 0.8%-1.4%, nickel + cobalt 11%-13%, zinc balance), and charcoal may be added to cover to isolate oxygen and reduce oxidized impurities.


Forming


Stretching and extrusion: The copper rod is plastically deformed by a large drawing machine or a continuous extruder, and the cross-sectional size is compressed by a die to form a preliminary wire. Cold rolling and extrusion processes can eliminate surface defects and improve mechanical strength and conductivity (conductivity ≥100% IACS).

Wire drawing: Polycrystalline dies and lubricating fluids are used for multiple wire drawing to ensure that the wire surface is smooth and the dimensional accuracy is high (change ≤0.01mm).


Heat treatment
