C26000 is a copper-zinc binary alloy (ordinary brass), the main components are:


Copper (Cu): 68.5%~71.5%

Zinc (Zn): Balance (about 28.5%~31.5%)

Impurity elements (total ≤0.3%):

Lead (Pb) ≤0.03%~0.07%

Iron (Fe) ≤0.05%~0.10%

Bismuth (Bi) ≤0.002%

Other trace elements such as phosphorus (P) and beryllium (Sb) are extremely low in content.

1. Production process

Raw material pretreatment

The electrolytic copper plate is preheated (80-150℃) to remove surface moisture, followed by cleaning steps such as shelling and pickling (electrolytic pickling and cold water washing) to ensure the cleanliness of the copper surface.


2. Wire drawing and forming


The copper rod is gradually drawn into copper wire of the required diameter through rough drawing and wire drawing in water tanks.


Boron coating may be performed during the wire drawing process to improve lubricity.


Twisting process

Multiple strands of copper wire are integrated into bundles through bundle twisting, pair twisting and single twisting processes to enhance structural stability and conductive uniformity.


4. Surface treatment


Tinning: The copper wire is hot-dip tinned after being wiped with flux to improve corrosion resistance and welding performance.


Braiding and sheath extrusion: Some products need to go through the braiding process, and then the sheath is extruded to cover the insulation layer to form a finished product.

Heat treatment

Adopt annealing (520-650℃), low temperature annealing (260-270℃) and other processes to optimize material properties, eliminate internal stress and improve ductility.


Inspection and packaging

The finished product must pass mechanical properties, conductivity and other tests, and be packaged and stored after passing.
