The production process of C36000 copper alloy mainly includes the following steps:


Making and smelting: According to the alloy composition requirements (copper 60.0-63.0%, lead 2.5-3.7%, zinc balance, etc.), accurately weigh the raw materials and melt them into liquid to ensure uniform mixing of elements.

Casting: The molten copper liquid is poured into castings, and common forms include bars, plates, pipes, etc.

Heat treatment: Adjust the organizational properties through annealing (425-700°C) or aging hardening to improve hardness, strength or ductility.

Machining:

Hot processing: Suitable for forging, extrusion, etc., with a temperature range of 625-800°C.

Cold processing: Formed by rolling, wire drawing, cutting and other processes, and secondary annealing may be required after processing to eliminate stress.

Surface treatment: Such as polishing, plating, etc., to enhance corrosion resistance or aesthetics.
