Production process

Smelting and casting

The main preparation method of C62300 aluminum bronze plate is smelting and casting process. By precisely controlling the ratio of copper (about 82.2%-89.5%) and aluminum (8.5%-10%), and adding elements such as iron and nickel to form an alloy.


Forming process


Extrusion and forging: Suitable for manufacturing parts with complex shapes, forming a dense and uniform microstructure through extrusion or forging, improving strength and corrosion resistance.

Rolling and hot and cold processing: The material has good plasticity and can be cold, hot rolled and formed.

Surface treatment: Some processes may include steps such as degreasing and painting (such as general copper plate process).


Heat treatment


Annealing: 700-750℃ annealing to eliminate internal stress.

Quenching and tempering: After 850℃ water-cooled quenching, 500-550℃ tempering can adjust the hardness to HB 110-178.
