ASTM B135/B135M: Standardizes the manufacturing requirements of seamless brass tubes, covering chemical composition, mechanical properties and dimensional tolerances.
ASME SB135: Similar to the ASTM standard, it is suitable for high temperature and high pressure environments such as boilers and pressure vessels.
DIN EN CW 508 L: European standard, corresponding to UNS C27400, suitable for industrial pipes and fittings.

Production process and product advantages of C27400 copper tube:
Production process
1. Melting and continuous casting:
The raw materials are cathode copper and phosphor copper alloy, which are melted at a high temperature of 1200℃ in an industrial frequency furnace, and then cooled and formed by a horizontal continuous casting process. The cooled copper tube is water-cooled to 50℃ to form a preliminary tube blank.
2. Rolling and stretching:
The tube blank is milled to remove the surface oxide layer, and then plastic processing is performed by planetary rolling and triple drawing, disc drawing and other processes to improve dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
It is mentioned that the use of long-stroke tube rolling mills and independently developed high-speed stretching machines can further reduce eccentricity and improve product consistency.
3. Annealing and surface treatment:
Online annealing (temperature 600-700℃) is required during the processing process to eliminate internal stress and ensure the ductility of the material. The finished product also needs to undergo surface cleaning, rewinding flaw detection and other processes to ensure that there are no oxidation spots and defects.
Precision processing technology:
Use high-precision straightening machines to ensure straightness, and cooperate with Swiss imported spectrometers and other equipment for quality inspection to ensure that mechanical properties and dimensions meet the standards. Some companies have also introduced energy automatic metering and frequency conversion power regulation technology to reduce energy consumption.
