The size range of C27400 copper plate varies according to standards and suppliers. Common specifications include:
Thickness:
Regular supply: 0.3-10 mm (soft state), 4-14 mm (heat-treated state).
Extended range: 0.5-80 mm thickness options are available.
Width: 0.5-3 m (adjusted according to plate length).
Length: Plates are commonly 1-6 m.

Production process and product advantages of C27400 copper plate:
1. Production process
Raw material processing: The surface of the copper alloy billet needs to be cleaned at the beginning of production, including pre-treatment steps such as water washing and degreasing to ensure the quality of subsequent processing.
Forming processing:
Forging and stamping: C27400 copper alloy has good forgeability and can be processed into parts with complex shapes through forging, stamping and other processes.
Hot and cold processing: It supports cold and hot processing, such as hot processing above 600℃, which is suitable for the manufacture of precision parts.
Surface treatment: The production process involves painting (primer, topcoat) and drying to improve the corrosion resistance and aesthetics of the product surface.
Subsequent processing: Including modern processing technologies such as laser cutting, wire cutting, bending, etc., to meet high-precision requirements, for example, the thickness of the copper plate can be as low as 0.5mm, and the tolerance control is up to ±0.125mm.
2. Product Advantages
Excellent corrosion resistance:
The addition of tin and zinc significantly improves the corrosion resistance of the alloy, and it performs well in dry air and weak acid environments, far exceeding ordinary brass.
However, proper protection is still required in seawater or highly corrosive environments.
Excellent processing performance:
It has strong adaptability to hot and cold processing, and its elongation can reach more than 30% (soft state), which is suitable for high-precision forming processes such as stamping, forging, and CNC processing.
After adding lead elements, it becomes one of the most machinable materials in copper alloys, supporting high feed rates and low coolant requirements, reducing production costs.
Excellent mechanical properties:
Tensile strength is as high as 220-275MPa (soft to hard state), yield strength is 160MPa, and elongation is 10%-45%, which is suitable for high-load parts.
It has both elasticity and strength, and can meet the mechanical requirements of high-end fields such as aerospace and ships.
Cost-effectiveness: Compared with stainless steel, its material cost and processing difficulty are lower, and its comprehensive cost performance is outstanding.
Widely used in the following fields: covering machinery manufacturing (such as pins and nuts), electronic equipment structural parts, plumbing equipment, architectural decoration, etc., especially in the marine industry, it has become the preferred material due to its corrosion resistance.
