C26000 copper rods have various specifications, and the specific sizes vary depending on the processing method:
Diameter range:
Round rods: Common diameter 6-130mm (ASTM B36 standard), some suppliers provide a wider customization range (0.2mm-300mm).
Hexagonal rods: diameter 5-60mm, some can reach more than 60mm.
Square rods: 4-60mm, some extend to more than 60mm.
Length range: Standard length 1-6 meters, can be customized to 30 meters.

C26000 is a copper-zinc binary alloy (ordinary brass), the main components are:
Copper (Cu): 68.5%~71.5%
Zinc (Zn): Balance (about 28.5%~31.5%)
Impurity elements (total ≤0.3%):
Lead (Pb) ≤0.03%~0.07%
Iron (Fe) ≤0.05%~0.10%
Bismuth (Bi) ≤0.002%
Other trace elements such as phosphorus (P) and beryllium (Sb) are extremely low in content.

Key performance characteristics
Processing performance:
Excellent cold and hot processing performance, suitable for complex forming such as deep drawing and molding.
Contains a small amount of lead (0.03-0.07%) to improve machinability and reduce tool wear.
Corrosion resistance:
Stable in general atmosphere, fresh water and sea water, but prone to stress corrosion cracking, annealing treatment is required to eliminate internal stress.
Easy to oxidize and dezincify at high temperature, and protective atmosphere processing is required.

Production process and product advantages of C26000 copper rod:
1. Production process
Raw material smelting
Use scrap copper, electrolytic copper, zinc ingots and other raw materials, heat to about 1100℃ in an electric furnace to melt into liquid. During the smelting process, slag remover needs to be added to remove impurities, and the alloy ratio is adjusted through component detection.
Molding process
Extrusion method: The mainstream process in China adopts large-tonnage reverse extrusion technology (such as 38MN extruder), and improves product density, surface finish and strength through continuous casting and extrusion.
Continuous casting: The "submerged liquid transfer-horizontal continuous casting" technology is used to achieve multi-head multi-flow continuous production, which is more than 10 times more efficient than traditional processes and reduces smoke emissions.
Subsequent processing
Including polishing, straightening, cutting and other steps. Some companies combine grinding, cleaning, drying and other processes to ensure the quality of finished products.
