1. Production process
Alloy smelting and composition control
The chemical composition of C14500 is mainly copper (≥99.3%), with 0.4-0.7% tellurium (Te) and trace phosphorus (0.004-0.012%) added. The high conductivity and easy cutting of the material are ensured by precisely controlling the smelting temperature and alloy ratio. Impurity interference should be avoided during the manufacturing process to maintain stable physical properties.
Hot and cold processing technology
Hot processing: Forging, extrusion or hot rolling in the temperature range of 750-875°C is suitable for the production of high-strength parts such as bolts and nuts.
Cold processing: Through drawing, stamping or die-casting, it can be made into profiles such as plates, bars, and pipes to meet the needs of precision parts.
Annealing treatment: Annealing at 420-650°C to eliminate internal stress and improve material ductility.
